She told me she wanted to be a raindrop
She said she wasn’t afraid of falling
That she wanted to feel the rush
The wind
The freedom
But that she was scared of where she would land
And I told her that she didn’t have to worry
Because I would catch her

Today she was a raindrop
She fell
But I wasn’t there to catch her
