Umbrellas

Do people use umbrellas too much?
Have they never felt the drops on their face,
Or the coldness on their cheeks?
Does the rain ruin your lace?
Indeed it is useful,
But does it not cover the beauty
Of the Earth? Do not blame the clouds
For they are doing their duty.
Do not blame anything, but yourself.
Learn to embrace
To look at and appreciate
Listen to the calm pace
Of the rain, and let yourself
Free of the umbrella.
