The stars shine above
And the city glowed beneath
In the city that never sleeps
Birds lay in their nests looking after the young
The building lights go off one by one
People lay in their beds thinking away
What tomorrow will bring?
Well that's a new day
Night, night!
Said all the land
Flowers stop growing
They all go to sleep
You should go to bed
Were you and your dreams meet
