A Day Without Pain

The trees dance
and the birds sing.
The eagles swoop above,
Eyeing everything.

The crowded shopping centres make noise
and the cars flash their lights.
Children run around the park,
Flying their kites.

All we see is happiness,
Happiness all around.
A colourful, memorable day,
In a beautiful, light town.

The wind howls,
and the sun fades away.
We will remember this peaceful day,
A day without pain...
