Just A Candle

Am I just a candle?
Do you use me when your world is dull?
Do you light me up and know I will burn?
Do I really help you?
Do you need me? Or am I useless?
Can you trust me, to keep your world lit?
Or do you use me just for decoration?
Do I amaze you with my flame?
Or is that useless like the rest of me?
And when you are done with me...
Do you blow my light out, and put me away,
Till you need me again to light up your world?
I am not the only candle, there are thousands like me out there
My wax is running out, but I can be remade.
With some love and care, and with your gentle hands you can mould me back to life.
Then I will be happy to light your world again.
So… what does this simple candle mean to you?
