Tears

The tears are falling from my face because all I can do is cry
I'm scared of the future and having to say goodbye
Our memories are painful to remember, because they'll never happen again
Please don't let this be the end

Someone wake me up now and hold me tight
Tell me it was a nightmare and that I'm alright
Because I'm scared for myself and I'm scared for you
I can't even imagine the pain that you're going through

People say it could be worse but I can't see how
Cause the only comfort I need is you right now
And these prayers to Him don't seem to work
No matter how much I beg Him, you still hurt

So wake me up and hold me tight
Because I need everything to be alright.
