The sky radiated a pink and yellow sheen,
and a marvellous creature, like no one has ever seen.
It's stature of a dragon's, stole the people's gaze,
and it's mist emitting tail, resembled azure haze.
It's turquoise colouration blended with the sky,
for one so great as this, must never be seen to fly.
The dragon's gargantuan wings, filled with river dews,
It's tail appeared so mighty, encrusted with sapphire jewels.
It's snout as magnificently structured as a horse,
for those who ever doubted it, should be filled with remorse.
It's scales an elegant cobalt, its eyes an aqua-marine,
when passing by the sun, it gives a royal sheen.
But when the rain should fall over the ever thirsty earth,
the dragon becomes active, its power more than worth.
Bringing the tides to a stand-still, controlling ocean waves,
this was the dragon's power, extending in all the days.
But when its life should come to an end,
an azure spirit comes to mend,
a life filled with worry,
to a place where no one is sorry.
