A book filled with pain
left in the dark.
Chapters flooded with shame;
that have lost their spark.
Pages torn out,
Alone and afraid.
A sorrowful story
Its treatment has made.
Ripped at the seams.
Torn apart.
A violent means
To destroy its heart.
A desolate library,
Consumed by grief.
At the pages lost
For a false belief.
