A Gift Like No Other

I guess I’m just an ordinary girl,
living like everyone else,
but I’ve always felt
like something special was in me.
Not a skill for running,
nor a skill for riding.
Way more special than normal gifts.
Like no other.
I felt like I was the only girl,
in the whole wide world that had such a special gift,
like being able to communicate with animals.
I tested it out on some ordinary farm animals
But I didn’t have to try,
it just came to me naturally,
It’s like me talking human language,
But to animals.
It was the best feeling to have such a special gift.
