Pathetic Goodbye

Death is in the flower's heart
Why cry for the life of a petal?
Scars in red ink of weary blades
Betrays the written desire
They will say she died of suicide
But they are most definitely wrong
What broke her soul was not rope, pills nor blades
As they could not kill what was already dead
She died inside so long before,
A twisted soul, voices screaming inside
She beckoned for the devil with howls of silence
Therefore claiming another life of innocence
Escaping with the key of self-harm,
exposing the door for him, she departed
And in a smile of pain
She bled and waned
Her cold, pathetic goodbye
