Phoebe Jones was an amazing dancer.
She was a world champion and won every
competition she went to. She would always
win the judges over by gliding through
the air, her facial expressions and her
extreme flexibility.
She was at the biggest competition of
the year an something terrible happened.
Phoebe was getting ready to go on stage, so she
ran through her dance. As she did a sashay turn,
her enemy Mackenzie Gregaricks deliberately
stuck her foot out and then Phoebe tripped
over it. She screamed in pain. “Someone call
000’’ yelled her dance coach. Her ankle was
broken.
For 3 months Phoebe couldn’t walk or dance.
Once she could walk she didn’t take her dancing
as seriously as she used to. She went to her
first competition in months. But she lost.
In a whole month she went to 11 competitions
and lost them all. She decided she would quit
dancing. She lost her faith in it.
Phoebe needed a new hobby. She wanted to try
singing. So she auditioned for Miss Dainty’s
singing school. But instead of singing she danced.
So she didn’t pass.
Then she tried out for basketball. But she
started dancing in the middle of the court
during a game. So she got kicked off the
team.
Then she tried out for cooking classes. But
would be to busy dancing to cook anything.
So the instructor told her to leave.
She tried so many other things, but
all she would do was dance.
A year later she realized that she should
go back to being a dancer. She wished she
never lost faith in dancing.
She started winning competitions again
and her life was back to normal.
She never lost faith in dancing again.
