Bubbles pop,
Others drift up,
Some fall to the ground and leave a shiny wet mark on the grass.
Laughing, burbling children
Fill the courtyard with excited giggles,
Bumping and chasing the rainbow treasures.
The cheer fills the space,
Until it's too big,
It bursts,
And the memories of sunshine and laughter rain down,
Brightening the cracked paving as the water drizzles down.
