Past And Now

Although I’ve managed to get through
I have had some pretty tough times
I’m not on my own,
I never was thanks to my family.
As I grew up I made some friends all because they were kind.
I couldn’t have done it on my own mostly because I was shy.
I may not be the brightest kid but my friends never did mind.
Even though I may have had died and came back to life
I’ve managed to get past that,
And all those bad times because of my family and friends.
