Pearl Harbour

At the time of the dawn chorus, under the rising sun.
Soldiers wrote in their journals,
7th December, 1941.

"Another calm day, they said, lets hope this nice weather stays."
Little did they know or realize, the day may turn out different, in other ways.

Meanwhile, in Washington, the officials were disagreeing with some Japs.
"The Japanese might take some action."
"Hmm.. yes, prahaps."

So a telegram was sent, with a warning message inside.
But, alas, it was too late, they had already been attacked, slyly by the other side.

So the US navel army joined the allied force.
They fought hard against the enemy, and waited,
for time to take its course.

The enemy slowly retreated, than ran as the allies arrived.
So the allies took the victory, on the
7th of May, 1945.
