The Reality of an Asylum Seeker.

One day I was forced out of my home.
My Mamma and Papa were taken away.
I believed we could be free.
But reality comes first when you’re in a dream.
So we caught a creaking and swaying boat.
We travelled as far as we could see.
I believed we could see home. ?But reality comes first when you’re in a dream.
As the water came closer to my feet.
I saw my Mamma and Papa on my boat.
I ran towards them only to find.
That reality comes first when you’re in a dream.
