Jack And Jill

Jack and Jill went up the hill although it was guarded and royal property.
Jack lived on one side of the hill and Jill the other. Jack lived in a small, peaceful, valley called Summer Stone. Yet Jill lived live in a crumbling, crowded, village name Goulburn. Jack had a great life. He had a family of six his Mother, Father and four other brothers. Jill on the other hand was an orphan, who lived in a foster home. Jack had eyes as green as fern leaf and hair as dark ash. Jill had eyes as brown as the timber of an
oak tree, and hair as red as a ruby. Jack and Jill had never met, yet on this day they both decide to go up the hill.
Jack was going up the hill to show his older brother he wasn’t a scaredy cat. Jill was going up the hill to see the King and Queen in their castle on top of the hill. Jack and Jill found each other at the bottom of the hill.
Jill questioned Jack on why he was going the hill. Jack replied “I’m going up to the castle to see my Nan and Pop, the Queen and King”. Jill looked at Jack as if to say “do you think I’m an idiot or what! You’re not a royal”.
Still Jill followed Jack up the hill, Jack hide behind trees, so that the royal guards (who were guarding the King and Queen’s castle on top of the hill) wouldn’t see and arrest him. Jill copied him somehow trusting him. She
followed him up the hill to the last tree to hide behind. Then out of thin air a royal guard appeared behind them, so when Jack turned around to see if anyone was following them. As soon as Jack saw the guard he bolted down the hill. leaving Jill behind, but she didn’t run. She just stood there, paralysed in fear, until the guard grabbed her arm and escorted to the castle. Jill cried out “HELP, HELP save me”. Then suddenly she stopped. Jill
knew there was no hope, she had trespassed on royal soil and was going to be sentenced; to death. By this time Jack was at the bottom of the hill. He was saying to him “do I save her? NO. But if I don’t she’ll die. Yet if I’m
caught we both die. Or I rescue her and become hero”. Jack ran up the hill as fast as he came down the hill before. By the time he reached the top (of the hill), he saw two figures walking past one of the castle windows. “OH-NO” Jack thought. Ideas madly rushed though Jacks head, to save Jill. Then Jack had an idea, could I trade my life for hers?
