I am empty
Like the ocean seems to be
Like the depth and the seas
Has become part of me

I am empty
Like a forgotten pet
Though it tries and it tries
What it wants it won't get

I am empty
Like a hole in the ground
I am lost and alone
Cannot make a sound

I am empty
But I am alive
And although I am empty
I still have my life
