The sea is as salty as a freshly picked olive from a jar,
The sand is as soft a my mothers warm hug.
The sky is as blue as the water is deep,
The sun is as yellow as a bright chirping canary.
The swimmers are as free and happy as the wind,
The laughter of people brings a smile to my face.
When you look on the horizon,
You can imagine a pot full of water.
The taste of fish and chips waters my mouth,
Like a leaking drink bottle.
I am as wet as a cookie dunked in milk,
The smell of salt fills the air like a foggy morning.
Wandering, waiting the waves are weeping,
To be let along the beach.
The beach is as beautiful as a baby butterfly.
