Us redheads get no appreciation,
But we will not last many generations,
So make the most of us while we're here,
Cause we began in the viking years.
And then there are those slangers,
Who sometimes call us rangas,
But I prefer 'monkey',
Cause bananas are funky!
We're called 'fire trucks' and 'carrot tops'
Cause red is the color of our mops.
Some whingers call us 'gingers'
Cause they're jealous of our fringes,
You can call us what you want,
But you'll never unhinge us.
