My Angel

You are an angel,
Who is more charitable than I,
You are my angel,
You are the answer to the question involving the words ‘life’ and ‘why’.

You are intelligent and beautiful all else you need be,
That you cannot see this has grief-stricken me.

So do what you may and do what you will,
But know that it is not true that good looks can kill,
For if it were then my body would be both lifeless and still.

Please know that I have loved you since that day from heaven you did descend,
I love you my angel,
Forever,
For now,
And until the end.
