Family
More than a relative
More than a friend
Much more than one who lives in the same four walls as you

Family
More than a homeboy
More than a bond
Families aren’t confined to those with the same blood

Some ‘families’ are broken
Dismantled
Destroyed
They may have the same blood
But a completely different heart

Some ‘families’ aren’t even related
But are closer than those who are
Some from the same hood, same town, same skin
But one thing sets them apart
Love.
