I stood in the wreckage.
The wreckage of the world.
Turning to forage
To forage for scraps
A world devoid
Devoid of life
Civilization destroyed
By years of hardship
Everything extinct
Killed by themselves
Memories indistinct
Drifting in and out of focus
Souls flowing to Heaven
Drifting through the air
Facing Armageddon
Was too hard to bear
Life
