One Day

One day you take your first breath or screamed and yelled,
The first tear you shed or the first kiss you get,
The first time you crawled, talked or walked,
The first laugh you shear with the one you love the most,
Having someone there to guide you,
The first time you go to school or class or the first grade you get,
One day your family member became your best friend,
The first time you hugged, kissed or laughed together,
One day you come home from school,
There’s bad news waiting there for you,
You've never felt this sad that someone is gone,
The only one you’re closed to tell everything to is gone,
Wishing that when you wake up there, there again,
Every day, every night closing your eyes wishing, dreaming their there once again,
You cry at the funeral that’s all you can do, while there watching over you,
You’ll never wake up from this night mare again.
