“I don’t mean to be rude,
I don’t mean to seem prude,
But when passing the hallway I noticed you were quite subdued.
You seemed disheartened, dispirited and low,
I thought I would join you and bask in the glow.”
“Thanks for the offer,
However I must not prosper.
For I am grieving the loss of a free falling friend.
He was kind and was caring,
however dangerously daring.
As he had lost control, whilst searching his soul,
on a mountain too steep to venture.”
“Death is something we all must face,
It is something that moulds us and puts us in place.
We may not have a lot of time on this earth,
this is why we must accomplish something to prove our lives worth. Unfortunately your friend just was not ready for such a thrill,
and lost a life he did not fulfil.
I know that what happened was not suffice,
but I guess every adventure comes at a price.”
