Mama told me that the beautiful angels
lived in heaven because they can fly
Poise and delicate like a swan
And soar gracefully into the sky.
Mama told me that the crashing ocean,
were the warriors of the sea
Brave and courageous like a lion
And still be young, wild and free
Mama told me that the old willow tree
knew the song of the bird and the dance of the bee
Love, wisdom and passion
And is the wisest out of the three.
I turned around and looked at Mama
And asked her, what she thought of me
"You have the beauty of an angel, the bravery of the ocean"
"And don't forget the love, the wisdom and the passion of the old willow tree"
