Enchanting Autumn
A festival of colour, leaves of red and glistening gold.
An organic carpet of leaves slowly unfolds.
The work of Mother Nature, the beauty she provides
The gradual changes as both seasons collides.
The gentle sun beaming on the skin.
The radiance near impossible to take in.
The leaves crunch underneath as days become shorter.
Autumn she truly is Aphrodite's daughter.
The placidly warm breeze, swirling around
Leads to jewels and gems yearning to be found.
But beneath its mask keeps something it hides
Something malevolent and foul is lurking behind.
Wrathful Winter.
