Haunted House

? Haunted House ?

The hairs on my neck stood up when I heard about the ghost in my next door neighbour’s house.

When I walked past my next door neighbour’s house the other day I heard screams coming from the house. I ran all of the way past blocking my ears going la la la! That night I couldn’t sleep because of the dogs howling. (I think every dog in the neighbourhood was howling.)

At school all of the kids stayed away from the west side of the school because that’s where the haunted house is.

The lady who lives in the haunted house won’t listen to us when we say her house is haunted. She says that we’ve been watching too many horror movies and that she doesn’t believe in ghosts but I think she’s possessed.

The next day at school Jade, (My best friend.)
and I were playing basketball but the bullies through our ball over the fence and it landed in the backyard of the haunted house! Jade went over to get it, I waited all lunch but she didn’t come back!

After school I went to Jades house to see if she was there but her mum said that she thought she was with me! I was walking home trying to figure out where she went, to get to my house you have to walk past the haunted house when I was walking past I found the basketball, I knew what I had to do.

I packed my back pack and brought a torch, some food and water, warm clothes, a weapon and the latest ghost buster’s magazine.
