I Am A Whale Shark

I am like a whale,
But I am not.
My skin is 15cm thick,
With many different spots.
I can be 12m long and
Live up to 100 years.
I feed on small fish,
And keep them swimming with fear.
I open my massive mouth,
And vacuum in my food.
Fish, plankton and crabs too,
Sometimes squid when I’m in the mood.
Although I am a harmless whale shark,
I’m sensitive you see.
Please treat me with respect,
And stay away from me.
