The wind howls,
As a wild dog howls,
The wind blows,
As the creek flows,
The pebbles roll,
As a Bilby digs its hole.
Doors slam,
As morning creeps across the dam,
The moon has gone down,
As morning comes to the silent town,
The wind blows,
As the creek still flows,
Birds cheep,
As loud car horns beep,
Now the Bilby must go to bed,
As all of the children are up ahead.
