I am distant through time,
yet so close through heart.
I am an inseparable scar,
not even death could make me depart.
A sound, a touch, a smile, a tear,
a kiss, a word, something to remember.
A family or a friend,
even an enemy is treasure.
I am a thousand steps,
with a hundred doors.
Although I am shared,
I am nobody's but yours.
A sight gives a reminder,
of rivalry or bond.
It gives such a message,
you may not even respond.
Am I that memory?
I am that memory.
