Leaf
Born a star
Top of the tree
Cream of the crop
Then comes winter
A blanket of white
tIs the signal
Time to go

With an air of confidence
It takes the fall
Dancing in the wind
Spinning in the sky
With the grace
Of a swan
Hits the ground
Its dance done
Its beauty spent
Now to be trod on
