Darkness is an amazing thing,
It’s hidden under the bats wing,
It’s undiscovered, and it’s feared,
It’s mysterious, and unclear,
Comforting, yet unsafe,
Something that is here to stay,
It’s where all lost things go,
It hates the sun, and the snow,
Somewhere where all fear begins,
It sings and sings and sings and sings,
A horrifying song,
That lasts forever long,
Whenever I am alone,
Fear me,
Because darkness is my home
