A Fun Time For All!

Just after lunchtime, a huge cheer arose,
Three rock stars walked in, ready to pose,
Students saying poetry, or reciting prose,
Lined up next to the actors in numerous shows,
The band was tuned up,
We were ready to go,
We were all set for the school’s annual rock show!
Bang! Crash! Wallop!
The drums came alive,
Most of us started to boogie and jive.
Out came the rock stars! They made their appearance!
Singing their new song, “A Strange Disappearance”!
We screamed and cheered, they sang some more,
Then finally the time came to head out the door,
All in all, a great night,
We left the dance floor.
