When I was six
I picked up some sticks
And set them up for goal.
Had a few shots
From different spots
And thought of those days as gold!
A day turned into a decade
A decade turned into two
Now when I play footy
My two little boys watch me.
I took a mark
Outside the arc
And kicked the winning goal
Now I have the true footy soul.
