She was the icon of flair, her beauty blinding
Blemished yet incomprehensibly flawless
In complete oblivion, always suffocating but never dying
Entangled in threads of deceit and riveting lies
Unknowingly forced to wear the facade dished out by society
Misled by the sickly sweet nature of humanity
A woman of the extraordinary
And then she blinked
She was no longer the apple of society’s eye
All her life she had been blind, refusing to accept the reality
The veil was finally lifted and she could see
The truth hurt like a sharp knife twisting in her gut
All she had trusted, had been a lie
Now she was nothing, just another face with a question mark
Society had wrecked her, wrecked it all.
