Temptation

A block of chocolate sat on the bench in a plastic bag. Jerry sat down at the table eating his vegetarian salad. He had dullness in his eyes, staring down at nothing more than his salad. Then he spotted the chocolate sitting on the bench all on it’s lonesome. He rose out of his chair but sank back remembering what his wife had said. By the time he had finished his salad, he had moved about fifty centimetres closer to the chocolate. That’s it, he couldn’t take it any longer. he snatched the chocolate out of the bag and scoffed it down with pleasure. This was his greatest moment in his life. Then the door slowly creaked open… There stood his wife. She was not happy!!!
