Death is like a dandelion,
Dying like the breeze.
‘Dead’ is like the rising,
Time hears not your pleas.
Suspended like a marionette,
Puppeteer commands your fate,
Lingering little, fading fast,
Bidding “adieu” as you wait.
Secret misgivings of the soul
Anguished whispers of the heart,
Knowing not where to begin,
And ending at the start.
Death is like a dandelion,
Dying like the breeze.
‘Dead’ is like the rising,
Time hears not your pleas.
