Born from a dream of naivety, it could be perfect
We see each other
Through a light of no one else
We could grow; I could shape the person you want to be
And you, you could make me better, better than I want to be

There's a painful truth that haunts my every step
She is there, you are here, and I am here
But where are we?
I am hiding behind my naked hands
But she walks free with a jewelled hand

I am here in limbo and you're only crying
You cannot choose
Which love to lose?
It was a choice between silence and sound
But you held me in your arms anyway
