Silence is
empty, but
full of lies.
No words, no
caressing of silken tongue over
sibilant syllables, no
clear, cold consonants that
break on the lips, no
chapped, hoarse croak of
love, no
reason to speak -- and yet..
Silence is
empty. But
full of lies.
Lies, lies, lies that
envelop me, like
water to
drown in.
Gently stirring in silken motion
beneath the moon's soft manipulation -- they
are as still
as the wind, but
luminous they
shine.
