Ill-fitting birds in ill-fitting cages,
Pluck out their feathers one by one.
The self destruction of such complex constructions;
A silent call for help.
The clipped birds try to fly,
With broken wings and broken hearts.
The felines over the fence can sense the easy prey,
Only centimeters off the ground.
Little blue birds lying in the earth,
Hollowed bones, battered bodies,and dried blood.
Six fingers under, lungs filled with dirt,
I see you.
