I sat huddled in a corner,
Feeling as depressed as a mourner,
Hearing catches of German words,
As they marched in in their herds.
The guns start shooting bullets,
We tried to survive but we couldn’t,
Each bullet hit us one by one,
and from the start we knew we were done.
The bombs shook the ground,
Many bodies were never found,
Like a gas, screams filled the air,
But the Nazi’s kept attacking without a care.
Our little village fell to it’s knees,
Concrete flew through the air like seeds,
When they were done no soul lived on,
This battle, the Nazi’s have won.
