We started off as perfect strangers,
With star crossed minds,
We began to talk behind opened phones,
Your smile became the light,
That guided me through my darkest times,
You pushed me away,
I didn't understand,
Life became so unclear,
I thought you were perfect for me,
The things you tried to hide from me,
Was it all just a lie?
Now it’s like every sight of you,
Is a worthy competitor of my worst nightmare,
People say stick and stones break your bones,
But have they had their hearts shattered in to a thousand pieces, Spread across the ocean floor,
