In shadows of the moonlit night I saw his ominous smile
Sat I, frozen by the sight
my mind raced a mile
My head pounds and I feel ill
Witnessing the angel of death at his kill
A beat skipped from my heart as I gazed upon his deceiving grin
I blinked my eyes to better see, he bellowed to me of his win
close my eyes and fall to dust, my chest was quickly pounding still
The angel of death at his kill
I arise from slumber and take flight
The fear of that chilling sight
from darkness into light, to free captivity
Unbinding your hollow soul from his will
To an everlasting eternity
Many years have passed since then
I gaze into the black abyss above
My dreams, haunted with him again, his heart devoid of love. Existence of him makes me ill
The angel of death at his kill
