You Are My Light.

You’re my light, guiding me, but if you flicker out, I can’t see.
The grass was green, growing tall and lean.
The sun was shining just for you and me.
Your hair was black, like a wolf, seeing it’s reflection in the moon.
My hair was golden, like a powerful horse, with its strong hooves and wonderful force.
How different we were but how close we thought. Nothing stopped us from having fun.
Your skin was black, like a panther, creeping with its stealth and beauty.
My skin was like fresh snowflakes, falling, dancing, and then dissolving.
