I am happy that the world is given life by the sun, I am happy that imbeciles are given licences for guns
I am happy that we approach the unknown with pitchforks and knives, as opposed to delving deeper down to find source of life
I am happy that this world is beginning to burst at the seams, I am happy that the morgues are filled with remnants of dreams
I am happy that aesthetic is not seen as pathetic – but divine, I am happy that that those less fortunate have much further to climb
I am happy that the helpless have to wait in a queue, I am happy that some are left dying and writhing from lack of food
I am happy that there is darkness in every single day, I am happy that all that can be seen is death and decay
I am happy that the smog makes us all gasp for air, I am happy that the world passes these issues blankly without a care
Oh, I am so, so happy, it’s true
Wouldn't you feel happy if you could see the world the way that I do?
Oh, I am so, so happy it’s true
The world doesn't need a hero, it needs somebody like you.
