One sunny morning in the middle of a valley
There lay a seed and her name was Sally
In the palm of her mothers hand with her sisters and brothers
She had big imaginations to be like all the others
Then one stormy day lightning struck
Sally and her sisters and brothers were stuck!
Suddenly a terrifying and humungous wind came and blew
Her and the other seeds off the ground and her family too
Sally was asleep now all covered in soil
She was growing inside and feeling royal
Days, months and finally it was Sally's big hour
She would rise up like sunshine and be a beautiful sunflower
Sally was again back with her family all beautifully grown
It's amazing how sunflowers can grow on their own!
