Recipe For Disaster

Take 1 ounce of anxiety
Add to 2 teaspoons society
In a separate bowl
Be sure to dole
A dash of impropriety.

Beat until tense
Or there’s a waft of suspense;
Til the tensions run high
But don’t let it get dry
And leave it to infuse and condense

Cram this all in the oven
With no feeling or lovin’
Top it with pride
Jealousy for a side
And marvel the reaction you govern.
