Mistake

As I waited for the high tide
I sat on the sand and cried,
I had lost a good friend
That’s when I realised it was the end,
As I dove into the sea
I thought of all the people that hurt me,
I got a feeling in my chest
I was getting more depressed,
I wish I could just runaway
Because no one wants me to stay,
I remembered the times you lied
I couldn’t get that out of my mind,
As I dove down deep
I realised your love was nothing but cheap,
All you were was fake
I shouldn’t have made that mistake.
