PARADISE
I was there, just myself.
In paradise I usually feel so invisible when I’m alone.
In happy places or sad places.
But here, my soul is pure and my mind is fresh.
No sins come my way.
I have just released a bag of the past, old memories
Old memories, lonely memories, embarrassment, loss of self-esteem and bad thoughts are gone.
I only have space for new happy memories
The sadder I get, the heavier I get, the happier I get the lighter I get
I am now as light as anyone can be
I’ll never fill up that bag again, I’ll never gain an ounce of sadness
I’ve experienced a dream, a dream that I wish I never wake up from
The sad thing about dreams is that you always have to wake up from them
I’ll carry around my happy thoughts and never gain sadness again
Until I do, I’ll let go of that bag and pick out a new one
That new bag will contain dreams to look back and enter that paradise
Paradise cannot last forever, and I promise it won’t last forever
So when I need to clear my mind I’ll open my bag full of dreams and thoughts and there I can walk into paradise and stay
