Rescue warrior,
That's what I’ll be.
Saving animals and setting them free,
Including the ones that live in the sea;
Pandas, turtles, dolphins and whales,
Tamarin monkeys with great long tails.
Animals hiding high and low,
Moving fast or very slow.
Helping the helpless,
With no fear.
Dogs, cats all with needs,
Frogs, lizards some in a squeeze.
Wild and domestic,
Young and old.
All just needing a hug and a hold;
Something to eat and something to drink,
I wish more people would stop and think.
